Search Dogs Sussex is a volunteer-led charity dedicated to saving lives across East and West Sussex and beyond.

Founded in March 2003, the team supports Sussex Police and other emergency services by providing nationally-qualified search-and-rescue dog teams 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Their dogs operate in all terrains— from farmland to wooded areas — and are called on around 30–40 times per year to search for missing, vulnerable or at-risk people.

 The team is entirely unfunded by central government and relies on donations and sponsorship to keep operational, emphasising the grassroots, community-focused nature of their mission. Garmentec's work with them helps to further elevate their professional image—aligning their uniform design with the seriousness, compassion and operational readiness of their life-saving service.
