Hotel Gotham
The Hotel Gotham collection blends dramatic architectural heritage with bold, modern luxury. It all began in Manchester, where Hotel Gotham occupies the former Midland Bank building at 100 King Street (designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens and completed in 1935) and has been skilfully transformed into a boutique hotel that honours its Art-Deco and financial past.
In Newcastle, the brand breathes new life into a Grade II listed former fire station and magistrates’ court on Pilgrim Street, built in 1931-33, re-imagined as a theatrical destination with luxury flair.
And in Bristol, Hotel Gotham is reviving a historic guildhall site with medieval origins, layered with Victorian revival architecture and post-war adaptation, ready to become yet another signature Gotham venue.
Together, these properties underscore the brand’s mission: to deliver guest experiences where luxury meets history, style complements substance, and the uniform Garmentec have helped to deliver becomes part of that immersive story of theatre and place.
